Sunday

HEBREWS   - Larry Turner - Auditorium
One of the most important features of the book of Hebrews is that it is a letter of exhortation (13:22). Within it we are urged to persevere, move towards maturity, enourage one another, listen more carefully to Jesus, and hold fast to faith, courage and hope. In this class we will consider several reoccuring phrases like "let us", "Consider Him" (Jesus), "While it is called today" and others and how these instructions should affect us. We will learn about the superiority of Jesus as a massager, sacrifice and high priest and we will consider the superiority of the new covenant over the old covenant. We will seek to understand the circumstances and challenges faced by the original recpients and to draw helpful parallels to ourselves. Come to learn, encourage and be encouraged as we dig into this wonderful letter from God.

WINNING THE WAR WITHIN - Hal Good, Fellowship Hall
There are no magic prayers to say or special buttons to push when it comes to dealing with "temptation". There is, however, a loving, powerful God who has provided a "way of escape". It may not be easy or fast, but helping you find your "way" is the purpose of this class.

SPIRITUAL MATURITY - Rich LInk, Blue Room
The Purpose of this class is to help each other go on to spiritual maturity as we demonstrate our obedience to Christ.

Wednesday

A DIFFERNT WAY OF THINKING - Mike Grose,  Fellowship Hall
Today's most controversial issues demand a very different way of thinking. Come and explore a biblical response to some of life's most difficult questions. Join us as we "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:5)

JOSHUA: A STUDY OF COURAGE, STRENTH AND FAITH                                  - Phillip Taylor, Blue Room
From the miraculous crossing of the Jordan to the crash of the walls of Jericho and the sun stopping in the sky, the book of Jos hua tells the story of God's power and faithfulness. Joshua was a man that stood tall in the face of giants and was certain of God's unfailing promises. Come study Joshua and find the courage to perservere in your own daily battles.
