Our men's softball team is a group of Christian men who enjoy softball at a competitive level. We strive to be a positive example for God within the softball community. It is our hope that our participation and accomplishments on the field will bring exposure to our congregation and more importantly to God's message of salvation.

2007 Season: Last season was full of ups and downs for our team, but in our Fall season we walked away as the 2007 League Champions and finished 2nd Place in our Preseason Tournament.
2008 Season: Once again we were able to finish 2nd place in our Preseason Tournament coming within 2 runs of winning the championship. Although we played the tournament in temperatures in the 30's we had a great time and praised God in the process.
Ohio State Championship Tournament
Congratulations to the Withamsville Church of Christ Men's Softball Team on their 2nd place finish in league play for the Spring Season. They were able to finish with a 7-2 record, which earned them a berth to the USSSA Ohio State Championship Tournament. They will be participating in this tournament on August 16-17 at Pastime Park in Harrison, OH. If you're interested in joining the team for this tournament please see Dave Menz for details. We will be caravanning to the tournament on that Saturday morning.

Mid-Western Children's Home Basketball Tournament

Every year the Mid-Western Children's Home hosts a Spring Basketball Tournament for various teams from all over the Tri-State area as well as other parts of the Northeast to come and spend a day of fellowship and competition in the effort to support this great organization. Several of the men from the Withamsville Church of Christ compete in the tournament every year. Mid-Western is one of our local mission efforts that we support. Here are a few pictures of our team in action at the tournament.

During the Winter Months our congregation participates in a co-ed in-house league made up of several congregational teams. The teams then play each other every Friday night from January thruough April in the gym at Withamsville/Tobasco Elementary. We encourage our members to invite friends and neighbors to participate in the league as a way to get to know and introduce ourselves to them and those in our community. It is a great time of fellowship, outreach, and healthy competition.
